Anne Haug brings her experience to the training platform Enduco

Ironman World Champion Anne Haug and the training platform Enduco are joining forces. The aim of the collaboration is to integrate insights from more than two decades of elite endurance sport directly into the everyday training of endurance athletes.

What separates world-class athletes from ambitious age-groupers? Often it is not individual hard sessions, but the sum of many small decisions: When is it worth taking a rest day? How do you deal with setbacks? What really matters in the final weeks leading into a race?

These are exactly the kinds of experiences Anne Haug now wants to share. Together with the training provider Enduco, a new version of the training platform has been created in which the Ironman World Champion regularly shares personal training tips, strategies, and insights from her career – tailored to the individual training situation of each user.

“In my career, I have learned an incredible amount – not only through success, but especially through mistakes, injuries, and difficult phases,” says Anne Haug. “Today I know that it is often the small things that make the biggest difference. I want to pass on this knowledge and help athletes achieve their goals in a healthy and enjoyable way.”

Knowledge exactly when it is needed

Unlike traditional expert content or video courses, Haug’s insights are not presented in isolation from training, but appear exactly when they are relevant to the athlete’s current situation. For example, during an intensive training block, the focus is on load management and recovery. In the lead-up to a race, race tactics, nutrition, or mental preparation take center stage.

The content is directly integrated into Enduco’s personalized training plans. Based on performance level, goals, training feedback, and available time, the platform creates an individual training plan that continuously adapts over time. Anne Haug’s insights complement this training guidance with the perspective of an athlete who has competed at the highest international level for many years.

“We believe that modern coaching consists of two components: intelligent structure and real-world experience,” says Enduco co-founder Lennard Schäfer. “The app creates a highly individualized training plan for every user. With Anne, we add the knowledge of an athlete who has spent many years learning how to consistently perform at the highest level. This creates a coaching experience that goes far beyond traditional training plans.”

More than training plans

From the very beginning, Haug made it clear that she did not simply want to lend her name to a collaboration. At the center of the partnership is the ambition to genuinely help athletes in their everyday training.

“I didn’t want to create a collection of generic tips, but rather share knowledge that helps in the right moment,” she says. “There are so many things I wish I had known earlier. If I can now help others learn faster or avoid common mistakes, that makes me very happy.”

The content covers topics such as training structure, race preparation, recovery, nutrition, motivation, and dealing with challenging training phases. It is enriched with personal experiences from Haug’s career and insights into her approach to training and competition.

Shared philosophy

The collaboration is also based on a shared belief: successful training should adapt to the athlete – not the other way around.

While Anne Haug has long stood for a structured, long-term training approach, Enduco follows the same principle in training design: every athlete receives a plan tailored to their individual development, capacity, and life situation.

By integrating Haug’s experience, the result is a combination of personalized training guidance and practical insights from elite sport – directly within the athlete’s everyday training environment.
